BASIC INFORMATION
Jagir Waterfall is located at Kampung Anyar Village, about 30 minutes drive from the heart of Banyuwangi. Most of the waterfalls have a difficult access to get there, but Jagir Waterfall is easy. It need only 5 minutes walk down to the stairs. Voila... you have already there...!!
Don't Expect Too Much from this waterfall, you will not get a stunning view or a jaw dropping landscape. It is only good for relaxing to refresh your body by swimming under the waterfall.
- This place mostly full of locals on weekend (saturday and sunday), school holiday will be very crowded.
- The pool under the waterfall is a for public, don't use swimsuit if you don't want to be crowd attentions. Locals here not get used to use swimsuit for swimming.
- It will be closed Every Monday for total clean up activities
WHAT TO SEE
Jagir Waterfall has two waterfall at the different location, the below waterfall (on the above photo) is the most visited. Most of the time will be crowded with the swimming locals or just relaxing around the pool. Follow the path up of the river, about 10-15 minutes walk trough the river side to go to the upper waterfall. It has almost no one visiting the upper waterfall.
Do not go to the upper waterfall when the day is raining heavily as the river is very easy to get flood.
HOW TO GET THERE
The cheapest way to get here is by self riding, you can rent a scooter for roughly IDR 75.000/Day. You can find easily some motorbike rental in front of Banyuwangi Kota Train Station. Hire a taxi is also possible to get here or you can easily book a car online on Grab / Gojek
